Coming up with an idea is easy. Turning it into a viable business is much harder. Convergence is an event specially designed for the Algerian community in Switzerland to help them launch their projects. But that’s not all – they can also learn and get advice, even if they already have a project
The evening will be in two parts:
🎓 Part 1 · Training: Hosted by:
- Samy Benzaoui, qualified lawyer and director of STARTUPS.CH Romandie, the organisation that has already supported over 35,000 business start-ups in Switzerland. Suffice to say, he’s seen every possible mistake. He’ll tell you how to choose THE right legal structure for your business and how to avoid the pitfalls.
- Khaled Ouafi, Partner at Eraneos, Switzerland’s leading cybersecurity firm, and former Head of Cybersecurity for Romandie at EY. He founded Cysec and secured a seven-figure funding round. He’ll explain how to validate a project, build the right team and secure funding.
🎤 Part 2 · The panel
Two founders who have built their businesses from Switzerland, who will share their unfiltered stories with us. The panellists are:
- Ramzi Bouzerda, CEO and founder of Droople. Born in Constantine, where water was scarce, he has made it his life’s mission: a pioneer of the ‘Internet of Water’, his B-Corp-certified start-up has already helped prevent the consumption of 25 million plastic bottles worldwide.
- Nagib Aouini, CEO and founder of DuoKey, with over 20 years’ experience in cybersecurity (Gemalto, Thales, Accenture). He has worked on the French biometric passport and has just won the Growth Award at the InCyber Europe Forum.
- A panel discussion moderated by Milyana Mcirdi (Oracle, SAP Sales Academy Top 100)
And because the best ideas often come over a drink: the evening continues with 45 minutes of drinks and networking.
