Dear members,
To mark Eid al-Adha, the Swiss Algerian Community Association is delighted to invite you to its annual barbecue, an event that has become a must-attend occasion, all about getting together, sharing and having a good time.
For us, this event is much more than just a festive occasion: it is a chance to strengthen our bonds, to celebrate together a tradition dear to our community and to recreate, for a day, a warm, family atmosphere here in Switzerland.
Whether you’ve recently arrived or have been here for a long time, this gathering is open to everyone, in a simple and friendly spirit.
On the programme: barbecued food, a buffet, socialising and music in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
The venue is easily accessible by public transport. Parking is also available nearby for those coming by car.
Participation is free for contributing members of the association. Of course, anyone who wishes to do so is welcome to bring a sweet or savoury dish to share, to add to the communal buffet.
Please confirm your attendance via our website by 3 June 2026 to help us organise the day as effectively as possible.
In the event of bad weather, the event may be postponed to 7 June 2026. Any changes will be communicated in advance via our usual channels.
