Dear members,
We are pleased to invite you to the barbecue organised by the Swiss Algerian Community Association. This event will take place on Saturday 20 July 2024, starting at 5pm, in the Parc de Vidy in Lausanne. This barbecue will be an opportunity to meet other members of the association and celebrate our community.
Evening programme
Here's what's in store for you during the evening:
- 5.00 pm: Welcome to members
Take this opportunity to meet the new members of our association.
- 5.30pm: Barbecue
Our talented chefs will be firing up the grills. We'll be offering a variety of delicious dishes, including halal options to suit all dietary preferences. You're invited to bring your favourite dishes to share with the community.
- 8pm: Entertainment and games
To liven up the evening, we've planned a variety of entertainment for all ages. Whether you like board games, sports activities, creative workshops or children's games, there will be something for everyone.
- 21:00: Music and dance
Music will be the order of the day. We'll be playing a varied playlist, with songs from Algeria and other parts of the world.
Practical information
- Date and time: Saturday 20 July 2024, from 17:00.
- Venue: Parc de Vidy, Lausanne.
- Transport: The park is easily accessible by public transport, with bus stops nearby. For those coming by car, car parks are available around the park.
Registration and participation
For better organisation, please confirm your attendance on our website before 16 July 2024.
Participation in the event is free for all members of the association. If you would like to contribute by bringing food, drinks or desserts, we encourage you to do so. We are appealing to your generosity to make a financial contribution in cash or via Twint, according to your means, so that we can organise other long-awaited events.
We are counting on your presence to make this an unforgettable evening. Your participation and good humour are the keys to the success of our barbecue. Don't hesitate to bring your family and friends to share this wonderful evening with us.

PS: The exact location of the barbecue will be communicated by GPS position on the WhatsApp group. If the weather is not favourable, tents will be set up to shelter us in case of rain.
